Trick-or-Treat Locations in North Idaho

Where to take the kids trick-or-treating in Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Rathdrum, and Dalton Gardens, Idaho

If you are still looking for a place to take the kids trick-or-treating this Halloween, check out these local North Idaho locations that will be hosting trick-or-treat events.  All the fun begins on Friday, October 27th and there are events every day, all the way to Halloween.

Trick or Treat Locations :
Coeur d'Alene: 

Post Falls:
    • I90 Autoplex Trunk-or-Treat hosted by Knudtsen Chevrolet, Findlay Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, Findlay Nissan, and Midway Hyundai.  Saturday, October 28th from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.  There will be lots of candy, games, costume contests, hay rides, hot cocoa and more.  There is an admission: one can of food to be donated to the Post Falls Food Bank.  They do ask that you pre-register in advance.  
    • Trick-or-Treat at Garden Plaza, located at 545 North Garden Plaza Court, Post Falls, Idaho.  Tuesday, October 31st from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Rathdrum:
Dalton Gardens:
  • UPDATEDTrick-or-Treat for Rocks.  Hosted by the Coeur d'Alene Rocks (CDA Rocks) Group on Facebook.  Head to 4th and Hanley next to City Hall in Dalton Gardens on Sunday, October 29th and Monday, October 30th between the hours of 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.  There will be goodie bags and rocks to find!  Kids are encouraged to bring their own rock to hide.  Want to learn more about CDA Rocks?  Check out my blog on Rock Painting Groups and Locations
    • Note:  The date for this event has been updated on the Coeur d'Alene Rock's Facebook page.  The event is Sunday only, not Monday. Please check their page for current information.

And while you're out haunting the neighborhood, please keep in mind these safety tips for your kids recommended by Safe Kids Worldwide:
  1. Walk Safely (checking cross walks and intersections)
  2. Kids under 12, Trick-or-Treat with an Adult
  3. Keep costumes creative and safe (make sure kids are visible)
  4. Drive safely and watch for trick-or-treaters
